Stacey and Andy’s Buxted Park Hotel Wedding

One of the reasons I love being a photographer is that I’m able to capture many different love stories – each of them is unique and special in its own way! Stacey and Andy’s story was no different. I was invited to be a part of their Buxted Park Hotel wedding in East Sussex, and I had the loveliest time with those two. I want to tell you more about how everything went on!

Firstly, we met for their pre-wedding session at the Downs, near Beachy Head. It was 2 months before their big day. It was a beautiful evening with amazing sunset and we captured some truly romantic images.

Pre-wedding sessions are awesome and you can learn more about them in my blog:

Back to the wedding.

When the day came, the morning started with the getting ready photos. Andy got dressed at home, while Stacey was getting prepared at the elegant Buxted Park Hotel wedding venue. I first took a couple of photos of the groom and his groomsmen in Eastbourne and then drove to the hotel to take images of Stacey’s bridal preparation.

Their ceremony took place on the stairs facing the Coat of Arms Lawns at 1pm on a sunny day.

It was just perfect.

It was followed by confetti on the other set of stairs and drinks on the lawns.

The reception was in the beautiful Ball Room and it started with the speeches and then the wedding breakfast.

As for bride and groom portraits, we took pictures, both indoors and outdoors, because the hotel has so many scenic locations!

We also took a photo by the pond with their reflection in it, which is kind of a “must-take shot” at this venue.

I love taking that photo, I think it sums up the whole venue and the wedding day, it’s beautiful, elegant and epic :)

Once I took a couple of beautiful wedding photos, the party began! The night went on with, the cake cutting and a lot of dancing. I was genuinely surprised when I saw that everyone was a dance machine, the celebration was on a whole other level once the party props came out. The couple finished off their celebration with a sparkler exit on the same stairs where they had their ceremony.

All in all, everyone had a fantastic time!

I loved capturing Stacey and Andy’s Buxted Park Hotel wedding, and I wish them a successful marriage filled with endless love!

I have to give huge props to the master of ceremonies, as well as the staff, who were incredibly friendly and helpful!

Go through the gallery to see the stunning couple and their celebration. If you’re yet to pick a wedding photographer. Send me a message, and let’s start planning!
