Vicky & Rew’s Beautiful Summer Wedding at Buxted Park Hotel

Vicky and Rew’s summer wedding at Buxted Park Hotel was such a lovely day to photograph. Relaxed, happy and full of fun, it was a very family-orientated celebration with children of all ages playing a big part in the day. Even Vicky and Rew’s own children, who are now in their late teens and early twenties, were very much part of the celebrations.
I’m a recommended Buxted Park Hotel wedding photographer, and I photograph weddings here regularly. I absolutely love this venue, from the beautiful historic house and gardens to the many different photo opportunities it offers throughout the wedding day.
The morning was relaxed and full of excitement as Vicky and Rew got ready for their wedding. With so many family members and children around, there was a lovely atmosphere from the beginning.
The ceremony took place outside on the beautiful Coat of Arms Lawn. It is one of my favourite ceremony locations at Buxted Park, with the impressive historic house providing such a beautiful backdrop.
The ceremony was full of happiness and emotion, followed by plenty of hugs, smiles and congratulations from family and friends.
Afterwards, we captured some group photographs while everyone was together before heading into the Orangery for the wedding breakfast. The relaxed atmosphere continued throughout the meal, with lots of laughter, conversation and happy moments shared around the tables.
Later in the day, we took some time for couple portraits around the beautiful grounds of Buxted Park. It gave them a chance to enjoy a quiet moment together while I captured some beautiful photographs.
As the sun started to go down, we headed towards the pond for one of my favourite Buxted Park photographs. This has become a bit of a signature shot for me at the venue, and I love creating it for my couples. The evening light around the pond can be absolutely beautiful and gives us a completely different look from the photographs taken earlier in the day.
There was no cake cutting at Vicky and Rew’s wedding, but nobody was missing the cake when it came to the evening celebrations! The dance floor was busy, with family and friends of all ages getting involved and enjoying the music.
And, of course, we finished the evening with another one of my favourite things to do with my couples — a fun champagne spray photo.
Vicky and Rew’s Buxted Park Hotel wedding was a beautiful celebration filled with family, laughter, love and plenty of fun. It was a real pleasure to photograph their day.
