Jackie and Mark’s November wedding at Brookfield Barn was such a beautiful and relaxed day, full of real moments and a strong family atmosphere. Autumn colours, soft light, and even a little rain made it a perfect example of a natural, documentary-style wedding.

Their day started a little differently. In the morning, they had their official ceremony with just their witnesses and myself there. It was simple, quiet, and very personal – one of those moments that feels truly special to capture as a wedding photographer.

The whole morning was calm and stress-free, with lots of smiles and excitement building for the main ceremony.

Their religious ceremony was the heart of the day, surrounded by family and friends. It was emotional, joyful, and full of genuine moments.

After the ceremony, guests lined up outside and instead of traditional confetti, Jackie and Mark chose bubbles. This is always such a fun idea for weddings at Brookfield Barn, and it looks amazing in photos.

The weather surprised us in a good way, and the sun came out, so everyone enjoyed time in the garden. This gave us the perfect chance to take some natural couple portraits around the venue. At the very end of the session, the rain started, but instead of hiding, we embraced it and created some fun, relaxed images that really show their personalities.

The day continued with great speeches, lots of laughter, cake cutting, and a lovely first dance. In the evening, we stepped outside once more for some champagne spray photos – such a fun and energetic way to finish the day.

Jackie and Mark’s wedding at Brookfield Barn was truly amazing – fun, emotional, and centred around family. These are exactly the kind of weddings I love to photograph.
