A relaxed October wedding at Pelham House
Kylie and Chris’ October wedding at Pelham House was a lovely, relaxed celebration surrounded by family, friends and their little dog.
The weather was definitely not on our side, with rain throughout almost the entire day. Luckily, Pelham House has so many beautiful indoor spaces, so we were able to photograph everything inside without it taking anything away from the day.
Both Kylie and Chris got ready at the venue. Kylie started in the bridal prep room before finishing her preparations in the beautiful Pelham Suite, which also gave us a lovely opportunity for some portraits.
Their ceremony took place in the Goring Room, followed by family and group photographs inside the venue.
A day full of family and laughter
Family was a big part of Kylie and Chris’ wedding, and the whole day had a wonderfully relaxed and personal feel.
After the ceremony, everyone enjoyed the wedding breakfast and speeches, with great food, plenty of laughter and lots of lovely moments between family and friends.
We also made use of different areas around Pelham House for some beautiful couple portraits. Later in the day, we returned to the Pelham Suite for a few more photographs of Kylie and Chris.
Cake, dancing and a great evening
The evening continued with the cake cutting before the dance floor opened, and there was plenty of dancing and fun to finish the day.
Despite the rain outside, Kylie and Chris had a beautiful wedding surrounded by the people who mattered most to them.
I’ve photographed many weddings at Pelham House over the years, and this wedding was another great example of why I love photographing there. Even when the weather doesn't cooperate, the venue has so many beautiful spaces that there is always plenty of opportunity for fantastic wedding photographs.
