Bridal Styled Shoot at Pelham House
Bridal Inspiration at Pelham House, Lewes
In November, I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful bridal styled shoot at Pelham House in Lewes. The idea was to create two different bridal looks, showing how different dresses, hair and makeup can completely change the feel of a bridal portrait.
We worked with two lovely models, Laila and Katie, who each had their own look, with beautiful dresses, professional hair and makeup, and stunning flowers throughout the venue.

Two Bridal Looks, Two Different Styles
Our amazing hair and makeup artist, Tamara from TK Bridal Beauty, created two different looks for Laila and Katie. Combined with dresses from Fross Wedding Collection and jewellery from Nichols Jewellery, each model had her own individual style.
We started with some getting-ready photographs in the beautiful Pelham Suite, capturing the final hair and makeup touches before moving on to individual bridal portraits and photographs of the two models together.

Pelham House has so many lovely spaces for photography. We took portraits around the elegant staircase, in the fantastic bar and throughout the Pelham Suite.
The ceremony room and reception room looked beautiful too, decorated by Tony from Tony Dunn Flowers, with gorgeous bouquets supplied by Delphi Flowers. The flowers added colour and detail to the photographs and worked beautifully with the different bridal looks.

A Beautiful Venue for Bridal Photography
One of the things I love about Pelham House is the variety of backdrops available. From elegant interiors and the beautiful staircase to the bar, Pelham Suite and gardens, there are so many opportunities to create different styles of photographs in one location.
Even on a November day, we were able to create a varied collection of images, combining elegant indoor portraits with a few outdoor shots.

Why Styled Shoots Are Worthwhile
Styled shoots are about more than creating beautiful photographs. They are a chance for everyone involved to showcase their work and inspire future couples.
For me as a wedding photographer, they provide an opportunity to experiment with lighting, posing and creative ideas that I can bring into my real wedding photography. For Pelham House, the images showcase the venue's beautiful spaces and give couples fresh ideas for their own celebrations.

They also help the suppliers involved share their work, reach new audiences and build connections with other wedding professionals.
Most importantly, I hope these photographs give couples planning their wedding at Pelham House a little inspiration and help them imagine what their own wedding photographs could look like.
