A Beautiful December Wedding at Highley Manor

Stephanie and Jamie’s December wedding at Highley Manor was such a lovely day to be part of. Even though it was winter, the weather surprised us with a bright and sunny day, which made this wedding even more special.

They chose my 8-hour wedding photography coverage, and I also captured a music highlight wedding video for them. Highley Manor is a perfect wedding venue in West Sussex, especially for couples who want a mix of elegant interiors and beautiful outdoor spaces.

Morning Preparations at Highley Manor

I arrived at Highley Manor one hour before the ceremony to capture the final moments of the bridal preparations. These quiet moments before the wedding are always very emotional, and this morning was no exception.

One of the most touching parts of the day was a first look between Stephanie and her oldest son. It was such a genuine and emotional moment, full of love, and it really set the tone for the whole wedding day.

A Wedding Full of Family, Friends, and Love

From the ceremony onwards, it was clear that this wedding was all about family, close friends, and real connections. There was so much warmth and happiness throughout the day, and everyone was relaxed and enjoying every moment.

Highley Manor is a great venue for this kind of wedding because everything flows so nicely, from the ceremony spaces to the reception rooms.

Golden Winter Portraits Before Sunset

Before the sun went down, just before the wedding breakfast, we took Stephanie and Jamie outside for some couple portraits. The low winter sun gave us soft, beautiful light, perfect for romantic wedding photos at Highley Manor.

These quiet moments together are always important, and they gave the couple a chance to pause and enjoy the day before the evening celebrations started.

Speeches, Cake Cutting, and Evening Party

After the wedding breakfast, we had heartfelt speeches, followed by the cake cutting. The atmosphere then slowly turned into a fun evening celebration, with lots of dancing and laughter.

To finish the night, we went outside for some fun champagne spray photos, which was the perfect ending to a brilliant wedding day at Highley Manor.
