A romantic sunny day full of emotion, laughter and evening celebrations
Tash and Dan’s September wedding at The Ravenswood was a truly beautiful celebration. The Ravenswood is one of the most popular wedding venues in West Sussex, and I always enjoy photographing weddings here because of its elegant interiors and stunning gardens.

Both Tash and Dan got ready at the venue, which created a relaxed and fun start to the morning. Tash prepared in the bridal suite while Dan got ready at the charming Rosewood Cottage.

As the ceremony approached, the excitement grew, and when Dan saw Tash for the first time, he couldn’t hold back a few emotional tears — a very special moment to capture.

After the ceremony, we celebrated with a joyful confetti moment and a large group photo by the main staircase. It was a sunny day, although a little windy, but the beautiful light made everything look wonderful.

We captured additional group photos and a few elegant couple portraits in the Princess Beatrice Suite before guests headed into the wedding breakfast, where heartfelt speeches, amazing food, laughter and great atmosphere filled the room.

The Ravenswood’s gardens offer incredible photo opportunities, so later we went for a relaxed walk around the grounds and captured romantic portraits by the birdcage, the historic ruins and the lake — some of my favourite locations at the venue.

The evening celebrations began with cake cutting and the first dance, followed by a packed dance floor. The photo booth was very popular with guests, and later we captured beautiful sparkler exit photos outside. To finish the evening, Tash and Dan enjoyed some fun champagne spray photos — always a perfect energetic ending to an unforgettable wedding day.

If you are planning The Ravenswood wedding and are looking for a relaxed, documentary-style Ravenswood wedding photographer, I would love to hear from you.
