There is something special about relaxed Brighton weddings. They don't need to be overly formal or follow a traditional schedule. Sometimes the best celebrations are simply about bringing your favourite people together and enjoying the day.

That was exactly the feeling at Caroline and Will’s Brighton wedding – a relaxed and fun celebration with their friends and family, captured through a combination of documentary-style wedding photography and videography.

Getting Ready at The Grand Brighton

The day started at The Grand Brighton, where Caroline and Will were getting ready before their early ceremony.

I love photographing these moments as they happen naturally – the excitement, anticipation, little interactions and all the things that make each wedding unique.

Brighton Town Hall & Brighton Bandstand

The couple then headed to Brighton Town Hall for their ceremony.

Afterwards, we spent a little time taking relaxed couple photographs around Brighton, including the iconic Brighton Bandstand. I always try to keep couple portraits natural and enjoyable rather than turning them into a formal photoshoot.

A little walking, talking and enjoying the moment is often all we need.

An Afternoon at Rockwater Hove

The celebrations continued at Rockwater Hove, where Caroline and Will enjoyed a relaxed afternoon with their friends and family.

There was lots of laughter, conversation and plenty of genuine moments to capture. These are exactly the kind of weddings I love photographing – where people can simply enjoy themselves while I quietly document what is happening.

Hybrid Wedding Photography & Videography

Caroline and Will's wedding was captured using a hybrid photography and videography approach, allowing me to tell the story through both photographs and moving images.

I love how the two work together. A photograph freezes a moment, while video brings back the movement, atmosphere and sounds of the day.

My style is mainly documentary wedding photography, with some relaxed couple portraits and creative photographs mixed in. The aim is always to create images and films that feel authentic to the people and the day.
