Hannah and Ben’s August wedding at Trading Boundaries was such a lovely day to photograph. It was a hot and sunny summer day, with a relaxed atmosphere, lots of family and friends, plenty of children and lots of fun throughout the day.

Hannah and Ben booked me for 8 hours of wedding photography, starting about an hour before their ceremony and finishing around an hour after their first dance.

I arrived in time to photograph the last part of the preparations before everyone headed outside for the ceremony. It was a beautiful sunny day, and the outdoor ceremony was the perfect choice for such a warm August wedding.

After the ceremony, everyone enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of Trading Boundaries, with family, friends and children all getting involved.

The wedding breakfast took place in the beautiful marquee in the garden. Before the guests went in, we also used the space for a few couple portraits, giving Hannah and Ben some relaxed photographs together before joining everyone for the meal and the speeches.

The whole day had such a lovely family feel.

There were lawn games which proved very popular, giving me lots of opportunities to capture some fun, natural photographs of everyone enjoying themselves. There was no pressure or formality — just people enjoying spending time together, laughing, chatting and celebrating Hannah and Ben.

Later in the day, we went outside again for some couple portraits before sunset. I always encourage my couples to take a little time away from the celebrations for some relaxed portraits, and the evening light at Trading Boundaries gave us some beautiful photographs.

The evening continued with cake cutting and the first dance, followed by more celebrations with family and friends. As my coverage came to an end, we finished with one of my favourite ways to end a wedding — a fun champagne spray photo!
