Rachel and Connor’s autumn wedding at The Bell in Ticehurst was one of those days that stays with you. October light, relaxed vibes, the amazing couple and their friends and family made this wedding truly special. The Bell is such a unique and quirky wedding venue in Sussex, and as a creative wedding photographer, it’s always a joy to photograph there.

We already had an amazing engagement session a few months before the wedding, and the connection was perfect. But somehow, the wedding day itself was even better. I honestly feel I was the perfect photographer for them, and they were the perfect couple for me. Together, we created one of my favourite wedding galleries of all time 😊

Relaxed Morning at The Bell

Both Rachel and Connor got ready at the venue and the whole morning felt super relaxed and fun. There was a cool whiskey shot with the guys, and a very emotional first look between Rachel and her dad—such a beautiful moment.

Ceremony, Confetti, and Speeches

The ceremony took place in The Big Room, followed by confetti and speeches at The Stables. We were lucky with the weather, so we could take family photos and fun bridal party shots in the garden.

Creative Couple Portraits

We captured the couple portraits straight after the wedding breakfast, which was perfect timing. The light was beautiful, close to sunset, and we could get a little creative. Just like the building itself, the garden at The Bell in Ticehurst offers so many opportunities for quirky, unique wedding photos.

Donuts, Dancing, and Fire pit Fun

Instead of a traditional cake cutting, Rachel and Connor went for donut eating—which was great fun. The party kicked off with their first dance, followed by a DJ battle between the couple and a lovely father-and-daughter dance. We took a few more relaxed photos inside The Bell, and the evening finished with marshmallow roasting by the fire pit.
